1. About PocketPrepping

PocketPrepping is a pantry and household preparedness tool designed to help you track items, receive expiry reminders, and optionally sync data using your own WebDAV server. Some features may require purchases through Google Play.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• Eligibility: You may use the Services if you can form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• Account (Optional): An account may be required for certain features (e.g., cloud sync). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it updated.

3. Your Use of the Services

3.1 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or accounts
• Use the Services to transmit malware, harmful code, or abusive content
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with PocketPrepping

3.3 User Content and Data

You retain ownership of the data you enter (e.g., pantry items, notes, barcodes). You are responsible for the content you add and for maintaining your own backups as appropriate.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds

If you purchase PocketPrepping Pro or other in-app products, your transaction is processed by Google Play. Pricing, taxes, billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled according to Google Play's terms and policies.

• Payments: We do not store your payment card details.
• Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted through Google Play (where applicable).
• Feature Access: Paid features may change over time; we'll aim to keep the value clear and consistent.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect information.

5.1 Cloud Sync (WebDAV)

If you enable cloud sync, you connect to a WebDAV server you control or select. You are responsible for securing that server and managing access. We do not host or access your WebDAV data.

5.2 Optional AI Features

If you enable AI features and provide your own API key, you are responsible for your AI provider account, billing, and compliance with their terms. When you request AI output, pantry item names may be shared with your chosen provider.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, Google Play Services and Open Food Facts). Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

• Google Play: billing, licensing, and distribution
• Open Food Facts API: barcode product lookups (barcode numbers only)
• WebDAV Providers: chosen and managed by you

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the app, website, design, logos, and all related content (excluding your data), are owned by PocketPrepping or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services except as permitted by these Terms.
• Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

• Data Accuracy: You are responsible for verifying pantry information, expiry dates, and any outputs.
• Notifications: Notifications may be delayed or not delivered due to device settings, OS limitations, or other factors.
• Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PocketPrepping and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Services
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data
• Any third-party services, including WebDAV providers and AI providers

In any case, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe: (a) you violated these Terms, (b) your use creates risk or legal exposure, or (c) required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will stop. Your local data remains on your device unless you delete it. If you use cloud sync, data retention depends on your WebDAV server configuration.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Providing an in-app notice for material changes
• Requiring acceptance before continued use (for major changes)

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services will be resolved in the courts of Denmark.
